Having a problem with the indicators on a 88 320 and wondered if anybody had come across it before. The indicators flash far to quickly when turned on one side at a time but when the hazards are switched on they flash at a normal speed. All bulbs work including the 2 tell-tale's on the dash. Anybody any idea's

Earth fault. or a blown bulb. check all of your bulb connections.

Yes, I had that happen and had no idea what was going on. At one intersection they were fine and at the next they were flashing at double speed. Figured it out when I got home. I don't know what the people behind me thought, must have looked funny.
x-works says that all bulbs work though.

Even though all the bulbs work, check thay are the right bulbs/wattage. (eg if a sidelight bulb is used instead of an indicator bulb it can cause the same thing)

Spot on Brian, previous owner had fitted 24v 21w bulbs in the front indicators, had checked the wattage but never noticed the voltage, bulbs changed and everything back to normal speed again.
