Anyone got any pictures of these lights fitted to a White E30??
Yes yes I know there what some would call council but I’m going for a black & white theme on my E30 hence why I’m after some smoked rear lights, could have got completely smoked ones but thought they looked a little to council at least these ones resemble the style of lights on the E36 M3 so they have a bit of an OE look to them
Anyways as the title suggests I’m after a picture of these lights fitted to a white E30 if anyone can assist if not fell free to discuss”¦”¦”¦”¦.

OH God
If you don't like the orange indicators, then just tint the lights red. Looks much better than any council tat you buy on ebay.

Come on its not like there lexus lights!!!
I had the same type of lights on my old E36 and i think they looked good..........
Like I said I’m running with a black and white theme on my car and will achieve this at all costs including fitting some black and white BMW roundels and the black grey and white mtec badges found on eBay!!
The world would be a very boring place if all E30’s looked the same!!

Each to there own and all that, turns out they turned up at my girlfriends house today so i'll be fitting these tonight, i fail to see how some OE style lights that IMO spoil the back end of the E30 can look any better than some subtle modified lights
At the end of the day its not like i cant put the OE ones back when i come to sell up
I like em

i'd go for the tinted/smoked tail lights looks much better. Look up Kos' old 318iS his was white and he did the same thing and it looked good.
It was on 16 inch ACS rims which helped alot

Already got the above lights waiting for me at the GF's didnt want to go for fully tinted lights as they look a bit boy racer for my taste.
People who dont know much about cars/E30's would see the red and smoked lights and just think they were standard where as most people would spot fully tinted lights and think Max Power or Barry boy

Yeah i was a bit pissed about that but i'm sure i can either mod the old backs to fit or make my over cover
The fit is good though they line up well and dont have any gaps, mine have also cured a leak i had with the old OE lights

I must be having a funny turn because I don't think this looks bad at all. Quite nice in fact. I'd better have another drink

Ignoring the fact that I personally prefer an oem look, yes they do look good especially with that colour bodywork. Whether they are aesthetically more pleasing than originals - either tinted or smoked is more debatable. What the heck, it's your car and all that - and it's not as if you've defaced it in any way.

Thats the type of view i like to hear but i have to admit they do look better on a grey car than white one but by the time i've finished my black and white theme they should fit in nicely

Well, it's only a 2 minute job to swap them over if you changed your mind. In the big scheme of things, they are far less 'council' than eyebrows, reiger skirts or mock M3 spoilers on standard 316s.

Once i've fitted my black and white BMW badges, black and white mtec badges and had my BBS's painted with a black centre and white lip i think the lights will fit in well.
I'll enjoy the hatefull comments once i've done all that, not sure if the BBS's will look shit though with a white lip??
