does anyone know if its possible to fit an lsd from an e30 325i sport into an e21 diff casing.

e21's use a small case so you need a 318is spool to fit into the e21 diff case, or buy a e12 diff conversion

So, can I fit the small case LSD carrier and cwps from a 318is into an E21 case without any other mods?. I've googleing this but info is misleading. Any reliable source to read more about this?. I prefer this option before the e12 conversion due to availability of parts (I have some small case LSDs with various ratios)

only ever swaped the internal spool not the CWP
