It's a lot nicer than the e60 5 series. I'm not sure about the new obsession for massive kidney grills though.

It looks nice inside.....
Look at the furking bonnet
Nasty looking turd! The five series lost it's style after the e34 IMO. E39s are excusable

I reckon that is a vast improvement over the current model, although side on it does look a bit clumsy. Three quarter views, front or rear, are great.
E30 Touring 0.35 cD - more slippery than prison soap

Looks great to me - nice and chunky, great proportions, 7 Series side profile, Z4 style headlamps and grille and looks like a 3 Series Coupe from the back. A vast improvement over the E60 which was a bit of a pig.
That's going to be a huge success and will rape a few sales from Audi and Merc - the new E class is a right f*cking mess.

I like it - a big improvement on the E60.
However, after looking at Blitz's signature picture it shows how great the E34 still looks - a superb and timeless piece of design.

Nice enough in a non-offensive way (sensible given the market!), but I prefer the E60. I think I'll have a black E60 saloon in a couple of years.
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

I like that tbh! Although if the headlamps were a little wider then it would look better at the front.

Chris Bangle did well, but the new team are really making waves. All the new generation BMWs are using large, flat front ends, which aids airflow for aerodynamic and cooling purposes. The lines and shapes they use are a lot more free-flowing and they all look strange at first, coz we've been used to the E60 for 7 years!
I agree with Andyboy, and i think it will be a great success, especially against the competition. the 5 series has always done well, but i think this will be really good

That looks very nice, though I think I prefer the E60 which does seem to be a marmite car . . .
