Right ok, i had a search and cant find what i was looking for.

Anyway im sure i read somewhere that the diffs not that strong welded? And destroy themselves after a few hundred miles? Maybe i was thinkin crazy at the time :rasta: but is this correct?

Please dont start the whole 'weld your diff and you will die and the world will implode' debate.

So any answers?

my mates diff has been welded on his 325, and that has been to Le Man and back. That includes burnouts on the Mad Friday plus his drifting sessions. Thousands of miles have been done on that diff. I wouldn't weld mine though :p
