As above, I've aquired a pair of Zender sideskirts that have some ridculous burgundy paint on them, whats the best way of stripping them? And should I leave them without paint, re-paint in black, or do them Brilliantrot to match my touring?

I wouldn't bother stripping the paint.
I'd scotch them up, primer, paint and laquer.

Depends what the paint on them is like. Any cracks? If so you'll have to take it all the way back. If the paint on them is really neat then painting over the top should cause any probs and it will save you alot of hassle.
If you do strip the paint Nitromours and then sandpaper is what I'd go for
