Anything FIA spec would suffice. Be interested to know what the driver plans to do with the wreckage. From the pics the engine has a CF box and a different pickup ring on the front?

Looks like a Track day not a Tourist day so wonder why the Mini was going so slowly on-line?

"Lets be careful out there"

jesus, very nearly the fastest place on the track too, don't think ive ever seen another crash there, used to be one of my favourite places for an 'off' on grand prix legends though :D

the debris trail looks more like a plane crash than a car crash
cheers,

I am never going to drive at the ring after seeing that. Bloody hell reality touch indeed.

Why not? Thats a full on track day. Tourist days are a little more leisurely (relatively  ) I'm not sure I could ever do a trackday at Brands or Donny or Silverstone after going to Germany.

I've always wanted to go there since meeting some zoners who have gone. My biggest worry is I am going to be the guy in the Mini and cause an acident like that. I'm not very confident with my Alpina as I have spund it a few times and I am just utterly talentless unless it's on a motorway.

Would people think a type of advanced driving lessons in how to drive a track is a good idea for someone like me who is too caustious about pushing my car? I know my old girl isn't really the type of car thats right for this but I like to just have some more confidence in driving in general and I would want to pop it's Nuburge Ring cherry with one of the many zone trips in 2010.
