This was actually quite a nice idea for a meet, hosted by BMW UK at their HQ in Bracknell. :)

Unfortunately...it rained. And it rained. And it rained some more. :( :x

This didn't do much to dampen spirits or attendance. Many braved the rain (probably seduced by the potential for bacon sandwiches and exotic Munich metal...well more so the bacon sandwiches tbh) and it ended up being quite a decent turn out. :thumbs-up:

BMW had quite a few cars on display, both inside and out.

Inside: X1, 5 Series GT, Mini E, Mini JCW and a number of motorbikes (including the one used in 'The Long Way Down'.

Outide if you were [s]stupid[/s] hardcore enough to brave the rain you were rewarded with a: 2002 turbo (lovely!), E30 M3 Ravaglia Edition, M3 CSL, 3.0 CSL, Z8, X6M, X5M.

Furthermore, being a Pistonheads Meet the car park was frequented by plenty of interesting metal - some exotic, some less so.

With the hideous conditions, I have to admit, I wasn't really in the mood to spend ages behind the lens, so unfortunately these photos are at best 'generic', mostly wide angle, the occasional detail. Still, hope you guys enjoy. 8)

On my (hurried) return to the car, I noticed someone had parked an oversized Beetle next to it. I think the spoiler doubled up as some kind of umbrella though. :):P

Overall, a worth while Sunday morning trip. Shame about the weather. Maybe next year... :)

But on the plus side the weather was nice :) I didn't take any pics. Thanks to whoever it was on another site that took this.

my god was it wet! I knew there was a reason fro going in Kitty rather than my daily, we got into the bmw car park and so shorter distance to run into the building!
Hope Jon's missus wasn't too cross when he finally got back to the car :x Let me know about the Mercedes Live event on the weekend fella. link here: http://www2.mercedes-benz.co.uk/content ... -benz.html

Aye, she was alright, in fact worryingly pleasant. :o Getting her up at 7am on a Sunday when its that 'time' wasn't my greatest move. Still I had to get the bint home. :)

Almost certainly a Yes to next weekend. I will confirm by Wednesday, if I havn't, nudge me.

It was a shame about the weather, but to be expected given the time of the year and country. :(

Naughty No plate Richard.
