Fitting E36 window switches

Take care when you buy them cause some of them dont have bulb

AFAIK, they all have illumination. I wired the power and feed terminals the wrong way round on a couple of mine and the windows worked perfectly but the switches didn't light. Swapping the cables round cured the "problem".

Just to bring this back up again, i`v had my switches turn up today and for some reason i have 4 wires on my e36 white plugs black,red brown,purple and brown looking at Stefans picture i dont see a purple wire would this be in place of the green one??
