im not having fun taking out the axle beam. everything is off but the beam bushes are rusted on.

You have belted the pins back up?
Put a bar in the holes where the pins go from the bottom and waggle,as the actress said to the bishop.
Then if you need to get really tough,a blowlamp to burn the rubber out helps!

I've just had the same delightful experience!
Had to be a bit rough with it but got it out in the end. The middle of the bush has siezed to the thread, THE JOYS!!
I've got the added joy that some cowboy in the past has welded the driveshaft nut to the hub!!!
Off to U-Pull-It to get a new rear axle tomorrow as original can't be saved.

I had the same problem.
Set fire to the rubber and burn the fuckers out, then you can remove the axle and the extreme heat makes it easier to remove the aluminium center of the bush from the car.

got it off. as you can see i love working in a big pile of assorted items lol.
gona clean it all up propperly and paint it. ordered bushes and diff oil today. fitting an lsd too. going from 3.7 to 3.6. hopefully it wont make much difference.
