SUBLIME!, Can you send me your address so I can come and raid your garage. Stunning bit of kit. I'd have one any day of the week over an M3. For me it would have to be a manual though, although this is the only variant of an auto I would have in the e30 range. I WANT I WANT I WANT. If I ever win the lottery I will be coming down with a big wad of cash.

Odd question did you change the cluster or dials and needles? I am sure in the first pics you had white needles on a plane e30 cluster face and then in the later ones I see red needles on the Alpina dial faces.
It's making me want to put red/orange needles back on my current dials.

Have to say, this car makes me moist. Very sweet. however, not sure on the smoked lights. maybe a step too far?
Still wouldn't say no though.

Thanks for the positive comments and all the opinions.....i realise the smoked lights arn't to everyones taste, i don't think the dull pictures do them justice tbh.
Cheers
As regards the armrest, i think they are still availible from BMW?, or they were up untill a few years ago??would it be possible for you to let mehave the measurements of the center arm rest pad? & also the mounting bracket? i only ask as i have given up trying to find a genuine one & decided to get one made up.
Cheers

Lovely looking car, really does look a proper mean E30.
Smoked Hellas are always an improvement in my opinion, mine have ended up on several of my E30's.
Not sure if the armrest are still available from BMW though, there is always the odd one popping up for sale, always seem to fetch £100+ though.

A far as the headlights are concerned i will put back my original french yellow lights on, as the car was delivered like that, as proven of my Alpina receipt of delivery.

Bit of an update to the thread, it’s been a while....
Engine bay is getting there, a new Auto/AC radiator has given it another lift. The rocker/valve cover is just missing it Castrol oil/Alpina sticker”¦you can see where it would have been many years ago next to the oil cap when close, the dealer applied lacquer has left an imprint where it was before being removed.

The interior is wearing in nicely and starting to look a bit more OEM now, some nice grey leather additions from an auto motorsport cab have tied the centre console in a bit,

It got a wash for the show at Tatton

The car is going to get some more bodywork and paint over the winter, currently collecting the parts in preparation. I’ve also got some Sytners Pfeba/Alpina spec side skirts which are painted and ready to go on.
The nice weather meant the cabby saw some daylight for the first time in about a year and got a wipe over.

and even the daily got a clean....

As always the C2 looks awesome!
More pics of the cabrio though!
Is it a genuine Hartge and if so which model? H26? H27?

Its a H3, based on a 320...a recommended approach for the 320, h26 style cylinder head conversion, with bored out combustion chambers etc, goes well for a B20. Originally a German car.

Really like the Alpina badge on the middle of the snow plough, I actually prefer it to the full decal kit. Is it the Alpina boot badge that is used?

I'll get some more pics of the cab when the weather pics up.
Yeah most use a script boot badge, but a sticker of similar size is included in the decal set along with stripes for the front spoiler.Eddie25 wrote:Really like the Alpina badge on the middle of the snow plough, I actually prefer it to the full decal kit. Is it the Alpina boot badge that is used?
