is it hard to fit an e46 m3 kit to an e30? would i have to take all the old bumpers off?

Not too sure about the e46 style bumpers but a mate of mine fitted the reiger gts kit a while back.He had to leave his original(pre facelift)bumpers on and fit the kit over them to hold them in place Looked good once they were fitted but not the easiest mod ever
