Anybody done a moredoor iS ?? Was kinda thinking of it as my next project slammed flared arches phat wheels. I've noticed a few really nice moredoors lately. What do you think go for it or stick with 2doors?

IIRC, someone here - can't remember who now - put an M42 into a red 318i 4-door.

Was a canny while ago now - 5 years or more I think.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

They badged it as the 320I.S. and fitted it with a smaller capacity 2.0L S14 lump and only available in LHD unless it's been converted.

Yup, 192 bhp. I'm still looking for one of the 2000 or so made. They don't come up for sale very often.... In fact I've never seen one for sale.

Moredoor FTW. I really don't understand why 2-doors are seen as so much 'better' - the aesthetic difference is minimal, it's not like the e36/46/90 coupes that are increasingly divergent from the saloons stylistically. You pretty much have to intentionally count the doors on an e30 to tell the difference!

Agreed!

...and there's nothing like cruisin' with the roof open and all FOUR windows down in the summer (that 2 week warm period anywhere between May and October) with the stereo givin' it some Led Z.

Because a coupe looks better, end of!

Don't fight it any more, if a more door was better than a 2 door than why didn't BMW make an E30 M3 4 door, or an E30 318is 4 door etc........

You get the idea. :P
