Had the same with the Calibra V6 that we took the engine out of for the Astra conversion.

It would keep running with the igniton turned off, without the key and even if you disconnected the battery 8O
The guy who stripped the Calibra interior, just ripped stuff out and cut through loads of wires, so we assumed that was the problem. The V6 is all wired into the Astra and runs fine - so whatever the problem was, it was on the car side of the loom, not the engine loom.

I would re-check everything you have touched when putting the OBC in, and have a good look round for any wires behind the dash that may of come loose or been broken, or any faulty earthing points.

Do you mean for the temp sensor in the brake duct?

ye it says one for temp sensor and one for OBC horn, i dont think i have the OBC horn, but were does the black one plug into?

there is one loose thin black wire on the drivers side that looks like it has been cut, and there is also a connecter running to the ECU in the main ecu loom that is loose although i always remember this being loose

also fitted a viper chip today??? :?

Help!

Ive got a yellow plug on my temp sensor, I think the wires are blue and brown (its difficult to see them). I can see the horn behind a metal grill type thing, just to one side of the snail type horn and directly above the air duct and temp sensor, but cant see the plug for it - it may be black?? I didnt even know I had another horn there!

As for the running with out the key - did you touch something you shouldnt of when you changed the chip? Maybe put the original chip back in and see if anything changes.
