This is my IS i bought at the begining of the year, it had been sitting in a mates yard for around 12-18 months un used, so when he offered it to me for £600 i had to think twice about it but it sailed straight through the mot so how could i refuse! iv done a couple of bits to it just to make it still look nice but still different in the mean time. Im thinking of sellingit in the new year as i need a more practical car and not a toy! so a few opinions on what it may be worth would be cool.
The spec is as follows;
Z3 short shift
M3 front bushes
Grooved discs
Recaro leather interior
Front and rear strut braces
40mm spax lowering kit with adjustable dampers
7'' flip out tv/dvd player
Electric fan conversion
Angel Eye conversion on front head lamps (outers only)
All red rear clusters
Medium tints on rear windows
Momo steering wheel
16'' Borbet A's
SE side skirts
3:6 LSD

Not a great deal of mods but i am still using this as a daily driver so fitting all this in has been quiete difficault.

This is how i first got the car after a 4 hour wash getting rid of that nasty mould!!

This is the beast now!!

nothing worse than seeing a good car get crushed, especially when its an e30, this guy should be named and shamed

you should try and find out where its been taken to and try to negotiate with the scrappy, wonder if you can save them that way :?

nah already tried that one, being in the motor trade iv got a few mates who work and main dealers, and when they take the cars in for scrap the have to sign a decleration to say that the will scrap the car.

surely, car will go to the breakers/scrap yard, same with insurance cars...some yards have contracts with the insurance companies, and i presume the same goes for the scappage scheme

so theyl get the cars, sign the thing to take car off the road/scrap it, all that will mean is the shell/number plate, will be destroyed so thr car is no more, and all the parts will be stripped and sold as per normal

anyway....nice is mate, wud look better standard imo, i love the standard is seats personly

nice looking "is"
love them seats , had similar in my SPORT...great for driving but not great for r*d*ng!!!!!

should have no bother selling that..if it's clean and rust free u might get 2k, just
my opinion...don't know the UK market...
if u are selling, post it on e30owners.com. we love to pop over the pond and take another "is" off ye!
