Well all who think its over priced are wrong!

Its £300 cheaper than than book value dumbarses!

That and the fact it is in perfect condition with a full BMW dealer history all at the dealer that sold it new! It is unmarked and everything works!

For the last 3 weeks i have been all over the country on the hunt for a 530i Sport for my mate and there is so much scrap out there advertised as mint its unreal!

This car is worth every penny but as said in the ad, £5500 ONO

Its a year older and has done 50% more miles!

Its also a prefacelift one with the E36 type steering wheel AND there is no mention of history!

Its also in west London so i dont hold out much hope for it!

A 530D at that mileage is also a risky proposition and will cost serious £££ when, not if, WHEN it goes wrong!

I take it you are the kind of person who cares what passers by think! Probably why you payed WAY over the odds for that M3 cab wanabe!

Fact of the matter is my car is priced correctly!

I paid what its worth, simple.

I don't understand why people get offended if someone says the car is over -priced.

Your car is a just a 525i SE, a typical taxi driver item or family basher, whether it be a individual, doesn't really make a difference.

But the thing is my car isn't overpriced and anyone with half a brain would know that!

It maybe just a 525i SE but it is priced correctly as i have demostrated!

I'm not offended that some missguided people on the internet have said its overpriced!

F*cking hell. here we go again. for the second time today all the know it alls come out of the woodwork with opinions on something they have f*ck all intention of buying.

Good luck with the sale barry. I too looked a quite a few before I bought mine and there is so much e39 shite out there it's untrue (I also looked at 14 cars before buying my old 2000 model back in 2003 and it was obvious then that many had already got in the wrong hands). The fact I got a blinding bargain shocked me as much as everyone else.

Seen this car and it's a truly genuine one owner car with a proper history. Not some high miler with "specialist" history all written with the same pen (on the same day). I love the individual sill step covers and interior door handles all stitched in leather. Lovely touches.

Oh and for all the haterzzzz info, Vines in Guildford had an '02 540 sport in silver with 62k up only a couple of weeks ago on the forecourt for £12995. And the spec was not that great either. And £5500 is too dear for this? PMSL!

You get what you pay for in this world and if your looking for a 2002 525 im sure you would have a look at this one! The guy put o.n.o so im sure 5k cash would buy it! Why oh why do people criticise so quickly! :D

Yeah, nice car. :)

My dad's got the 520i E39 - really lovely car. Just wafts you from A to B without any unnecessary fuss....

Bit of a dad-mobile though, if this thread's anything to go by!

I'd still have one though. ;)

Barry, thats still a facelift car. They gained the angel eyes and cellis rears in 2000 on the X but retained the earlier m tech steering wheel. It's the same as mine.

However, with 150k up and only the 525i sport, I'd say THAT was dear TBO considering what I paid for my 1 owner 530 sport with 93k up?

All this bull over something that shouldn't be advertised on here anyway :?

If a mod had done his/her job and Barry had used his brain this argument would never have started

However this is not an e30 and therefore should have been binned.
