Yes, will fit in the same way. Dont ask me about clearances as it will depend on mounts/manifolds used etc
What I can tell you is it will be the thinnest steering linkage available without welding and made from proper material

E28 mounts are expensive and considering the weight of an S50 not very good, they are just about good enough for an M50 IMO, I would either use poly or the US ones (cant remember name now)

I collected the test piece yesterday, hoping to get it fitted over the weekend, should be fine as there is plenty of adjustment but its nice to check :)

A bit more re-designing and I reckon I can get enough adjustment on it to fit both E30 and E36 racks which will be a bonus for all involved 8)

You can have the first tester if your in a rush, it will fit an E36 rack as you have seen.

Should have had the next test piece today, will be on the phone again tomorrow and hoping to fit it at the weekend
