e30 starts and then cuts out

can anyone help i start up my 325 e30 then it cuts out it starts on all cillinders then just dies got any clues

Dodgy fuel pump or relay maybe?

Possibly could be crank position sensor. I had a similar problem not too long ago varying between not starting and starting and then cutting out. Try cleaning the sensor first of all. If that doesn't do it check the cable feeding the sensor where it runs behind the fan belt pulley. Mine had been rubbing on the pulley and worn through the cable.
