I'm not sending this guy a penny!

I've just reported him as a "non-performing seller" to Ebay, we'll see what that does.

just looked at the ebay add for this car, if it is indeed made in 89 and is sterling silver, this would lead me to believe it is not genuine. As back then it was black, dolphin and lachs only. The other colours came in 90 onwards.

I may be wrong though, just a thought

Seems he's cancelled the listing now "due to an error". Wonder what that could be?

I think I'll give him one more chance to sell it to me, and then leave it; bored now.

And it's raining.

DAZ! FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT!!!

I've only got the 4-line kit left, yours for Ԛ£15. If you're going to the BMW show at Tatton park in a couple of weeks, we could sort it out there?

Cheers!

It's a proper Sport. Can't remember the whole number plate, but it's F*** GAW, so if anyone sees it up for sale again...

It's stopped raining, by the way.

Incidentally, this is far and away the longest thread I've started.

Make sure you put your side of the story in reply to the feedback
ie. would not sell me the car for the price at which the no-reserve auction finished

and leave him negative too, not that he'll care
Cheers,
Robin

legally there is a valid contract but it hasn't taken place ie you have not paid anything have you. You have an agreement for sale only, the courts never or rarely compel performance of a contract, if however you have paid and not received you car then you can rescind the contract, which means you can claim the money you have paid.

Quite right, mate - I'm not bothered about actually completing the sale, but the negative feedback was out of order. He's lied throughout, and has the affrontary to dent my Ebay reputation. Naughty.

Anyway, game over. Put this one down to experience.
