is there any underseal paint that also blocks out exhaust noise coming from the car ??

On a more serious note try doubling up carpets in the boot and even behind the back seats

lool. was thinking if there was anything out there that is quite thick in a paint form and would act as a exhaust noise barrier and prevent rust.

I used a lot of second skin sludge in an old car which made a good difference to road noise. However I used it on the inside not outside, it may well need overcoating with something else to use outside or may not even be suitable.
