I've read mixed views about ML, some good some very bad, but you will get it most places. Be prepared to pay a lot of money, and if you own an M3 or 318is, be prepared for a timing chain change, as all cars that go to ML seem to require it!

...even though they don't need it.
I think it was here that the magic 100,000 mile 'chain change myth' started... wasn't it?
More of a damage prevention thing rather than anything else, but it just kinda escalated into a major drama.

You'll get mixed reviews on ML.
I use them to service my car, and have been happy with the work.
Cheers,
Ian.

I remember being SO close to buying either an Alpina B6 3.5 or an M3 Cecotto from him. Trouble was, the insurance company at the time thought I would kill myself in them (which I probably would have done) so decided not to insure me. Stuck with my Mtech 1 Sport for a few more years instead... but the dealings I had with Barney were very friendly and informative.
I often think about having a trundle down there to have a chat and drool over the machines they have there...

Munich legends are greedy chancers. All of their sales cars are sale or return with 50% markups . A 325 cab is a very straightforward car any garage with any e30 experience will do most jobs with their eyes closed. Don't waste your time or money with these saddos !.

Will be a while yet too... not got an E30 on the road anymore, and still scraping pennies together to eat, so meets are way down on my list of priorities at the mo, which is a shame... besides, I've been on the Zone for a couple of years... surely you've sussed me out by now...
