Picking up a 525e on tuesday, which means an end to my loved e32 730i, been a cracking car, only bought it to save my e30 325i tourer having to take the caravan on holiday to devon, paid £300 for it last april, used it daily to go to work, bit thirsty though at 9 miles per gallon (short journey through town!).
I will be taking bits off it before she goes on the weighbridge so if anyone wants bits let me know with a pm.
Going to use the 525e until its mot is up in april and then use the engine for a 2.7 build for my tourer (the e28 has been welded on the sills and subframe and is reason for fragging another one of these poor old girls!) looking forward to driving a old sharky again!

Just picked up the 525e I bought off ebay last night, it drove home like a new car, everything as it should be, was in work for 4 oclock this morning so had to wait until i finished work to look it over properly.

3 owners from new, just had cambelt service, front disc's +pads plus rear pads, nearly new exhaust system, new tyre, tax until end november, april mot, car is stunning condition, never been smoked in, a real credit to its previous owners, just needs a 1/4 bit of rear bumper and a new nicer ariel.

I now find myself with a potential concours car in need of very mild restoration, it was meant to be a banger!! lol.

Get some photos up if you can. I really like these. It's a hard one - don't frag it if it is a good one - get one with the 2.7 is a good conversion. winkeye

All the more reason for you not to pillage it for it's engine when you've finished with it. E28s are getting scarce these days, well good ones are anyway.

Cool car, hope it serves you well

That is really very nice, I love the bottletops.

Sometimes I wish I had brought an E28 over my E30.
