MY K REG CAB and M3 REP projects -updated 05/10 - pg 12
Moderator: martauto
DaveD bought his hood from http://www.car-hood.co.uk/content.php?n ... 22&pID=147
I'm going for the maroon one I think (may just get a blue one and sell it the car tho) and like the bigger screen! The hood itself is well priced but they charge about £300 to have it fitted.
FMH, do you know anyone who can convert the electric hood into a manual? I think main dealers charge about £300+. Hopefully mine will be fixed as there's not much wrong with it but you never know with these things.

Its got to look really good... Better than the E36.
Well it has been a while since an update, mainly as i haven't touched the car since. A bit too cold and me being a lazy sod.
Got a few bits and bobs for it, including two sets of leathers; one had decent leather but battered frame/mechanisms, other was opposite. So today i started dismantling so i can put one together and dye it.

I think that would be a bit too bright and too modern for an e30FMH wrote:Either that or its going in the new Audi white.Alex wrote:looks like a good project, i think the new M3's are alpine white III, which is also an e30 colour
I "think" it will go well with the red leathers and gold centres/studs on the wheels.Alex wrote:I think that would be a bit too bright and too modern for an e30FMH wrote:Either that or its going in the new Audi white.Alex wrote:looks like a good project, i think the new M3's are alpine white III, which is also an e30 colour

Tbh, i prefer the bigger lights. Plus, i can't be fuk'd to change anything, just want to put it together and get them both sprayed for summerRav335uk wrote:Those rear lights need changing mate to pull it off.

Why go through so much work to leave the rear lights in??
Change them over, i know its a whole new panel, but atleast it'll "Look" right.

Does look really nice, but changing the rear lights might be something you can do to it next winter!
