how much for an HID conversion and how hard to fit also who is the cheapest and what kind of kits are there?.

I was at the scrappy the other day wondering how much I could make a DIY kit for. I know they are like 300 - 400 quid for generic ones.
Would have to get the starters off another car and bulbs that would fit the E30's headlamps. Can't see why its not possible. Might not be worth it though...
