Neil, the twin exit X pipe is designed to work with a normal twin pipe exhause system.
The single exit ones are to work with a BTB exhaust system.

Ooh, thats gorgeous Cliffy.
Sorry cant help on the connection issue but can i be cheeky and ask who polished that for you and really cheeky how much was it?
Also anyone looking for one of these needs to give BTB a ring. They are taking deposits for the next batch.

I'm sure it took a lot of arm twisting
Hows about a list for the next batch then, so we have an idea how far along we are?
EDIT: Valid point from Clarko. Lets wait for BTB to let us know how many they've got set.
Cheers

You will need to reuse the existing flange which will slide off your old system. Use new seals here too!

BTB have already started their own list for the next group buy, it could cause problems if a separate list is started here. If the people on BTB's list do not put themselves up here and it fills up it could cause confusion leading to disappointment for some. Do you think we should we wait for Joe to post the list up?Chris wrote:I'm sure it took a lot of arm twisting![]()

Here's some pics of mine. . . I've never seen such neat welding, I'm going to have to increase the lambda wiring by about a foot upon fitting. Then it's back off to the dyno to see the results!!

Just had mine fitted and mated to a (shamefully) powerflow system. although that was £500 less overall. I've got to draw the line somewhere.
Sounds so good, and makes a funny whooshing noise under load which I can hear through the bulkhead. It's busy at the mo so I'll go and give it a caning later!!!

Took some pics today in the light. Definitely happy with the end result. I've had to re-route my oil temp and pressure lines as they were a bit close to the new manifold, not too much trouble though.
Still havn't managed to go out for a drive as I've got lambda trouble, bloody things are so hard to diagnose, without a working replacement easily available.

I'm interested in one. A few quick questions though
Did Joe manage to make them to fit around the modified steering rack?
And has anyone any idea how much he is charging for the next batch?

My list reads like this:-
Chris
Sweep
swankeeper

clarko74
All deposits received with exception of one who is waiting for new card.
I will keep you posted as to progress, but it looks likely that they will be ready for delivery in about a week. We should end up with one extra spare if someone wants to dive in quick!

I drove my cabby on Sunday and the exhaust system sounds wicked, im running a scorpion centre and rear box with the BTB manifold and cross pipe
Prior to the BTB i was running a Alpina manifold and the sound now ive changed them over is cracking, it sounds more powerful
and the car feels more grunty if u know what i mean
Ill try and do a sound clip and video this weekend
thanks again BTB
