ABS Light is probably on because the fusible link in the ABS relay has blown - has your car either been jump - started or put into a paint shop 'drying oven'? Both of these situations will make the fusible link 'kill itself' to protect the ABS system. The relay is situated in the glove box, and is clipped to the upper side (remove the inner liner to see this).
Windows; do the lights on the switches come on, and do they not work with the doors open and closed?

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

A common bodge, which won't serve your ABS electronics at all well is to replace the link with a piece of wire. Rather than having the correct link die, you run the risk of damaging your ABS electronics instead....Messenjah wrote:beemerbird wrote:ABS Light is probably on because the fusible link in the ABS relay has blown - has your car either been jump - started or put into a paint shop 'drying oven'?
