Quick update before i leave for the workshop.. with a hard push i managed to get the whole front end welded up and sealed, just needs re building now which i started and quickly got lost... ive got everything labled but i seem to have a few unknowns... once rebuilt its time to do the rear end!! checjked it out briefly in the usual places ad there seems to be little issuse
i hope..... will post a few pics later...

loadsa progress made now, got all the weldin done and sealed up, just to rebuild it now, ive put all the engine bay parts back, waitin on a set of wings and a few other random bits to finish it...im startin the rear end soon so fingers crossed i have to much to weld.. looks okish on the surface... :/ lol will update pix at the weekend

FONT END FINISHED!!! WOOOO!!!
its finally all gone back together.. well the front end at least. had a few issues refittin the carpet cause dont think i got the shapes of the foot wells quite right, but it went in eventually. got some crazy wiring to sort out behind the dash.. looks like someone has been havin fun!

bin a while since i was able t get stuck in so hada blitz the last few weekends and got all (bar screen pillar) welded and sealed sorted out the arches (outter and inner) and just a few bits of panel work left to do, like the doors and boot for rust... and then prep for paint!! finally!! still not 100% on what colour/s to paint it...
Also i need a seat re coverin if any one knows sum one??

welding finished!! woop!! started to prep the panels for paint now, got to build it all back up and get a new aierial. few other bits to do and then time for paint. still undecided on a colour...

agreed, but there are so many choices... as it stands i am gonna have to sell it once done, it looks like i wont be able to insure it, and i am struggling to find somewhere safe to park it at night once i bring it home. I wanna make it apealing to all so i guess original is best... Opinions welcome/needed

little update on little progress... been really slow at the minute, so much to sort out, people to see, places to go....... ya know... managed to get most of it prepped for paint, just gotta block the filler off etc and prime it all up.
Finished the rear valance and got it stone chipped ready to paint!

Well nearly a whole year has passed by and i gott admit i didnt do alot for about 6 months because ive been doin a few other projects too, so im back and the beemer is nearly done! i have finished painting the car now (which was a mission) just need to paint the wings and rear bumper and its done!!! then the rebuild starts... another mission!
its been so long since ive been on here so hello t everyone again, and i will upload some pictures when my PC stops bein a p***k! lol

Computer fixed!!! so i can finally upload some pix for yall to see the slow ass progress!
it is painted now but got a few minor issues to sort :/ mainly a slight reaction on the wings in primer. so i must sort them before painting. and i ran outta hooks and rope to hang the rear bumper and mirrors, but all in all it went ok....

yea finally ;) a few things left to do, gettin the front seat panels replaced and mot in a few weeks... better get my wallet out again...
