Great - I'm just waiting for the parts and will give you a shout when they come in. I've got a few options to fit the 320i oil filter (standard double male screw fitting thingy, or an E34 B25 non-cooler oil filter housing and brand new gasket/rubber rings and new filter). I'm looking to undo the cooler pipes and fit the standard oil filter initially to see if the problem lies with my current cooler.
Would be great if you could help!

I just got confirmation that I'm off work on Saturday, so I'll be there (in the Pink Panther).

Got a few wee jobs needing doing if anyone is up for helping/ showing me how?

We could have a vote on:

(a) Fit replacement front valance?
or
(b) Fit replacement windscreen wiper motor?
or
(c) Fit lowering springs?
or
(d) Any combination of the above?

I haven't tackled any of these tasks before, so advice, assistance knowledge would be appreciated.

I'll also be looking for advice from Paul regarding the state of the paintwork even although it's not as pink as it was when I got her last week.

It looks like I'll be able to make it.

Of your list above I have only done the fitting lowering springs. Pretty easy job on the rears if all the bolts undo without a fight!! Front is a bit trickier but not too big a job for the day! Good idea to have a read of the relevant articles on this site if you have the time. Might be a good idea to have a handful of new bolts and nuts for the relevant areas. Go to RealOEM for the bolt sizes etc.

Grant, we dont have Spring compressors at the garage yet, so you'd need your own set..

everything else should be doable though

Ran out of paint for the touring so the bumpers and skirts are getting painted tomorrow so i'll be refitting everything over the weekend.
