e28 m30 conversion

hi guys just abit of quick help. . .
looking to do the m30 conversion to my e30, currently an m42 engine 1.8is.
im aware that i need the mounts, mod the prop etc.
just wanted info on the wiring loom. . .does it need to be modified in any way?

Are you using the engine out of an E28?

Wiring aside you do know you will have to swap the sump for an e34 item and work out how to get rid of the water pipe at the back of the head,im sure mounts are different too.
on a plus side you will have the right flywheel for the swap.

It's easier to get the loom ecu and hanress from an e34 less wiring mod's check the sticky on m30 swaps.

should it be going spare for any reason, i'd be interested in the oil filter housing / oil cooler etc.
that's one thing the E32/E34 M30 doesn't have

e34 head has a blank plate over the water outlet so it is easy to sort the water pipe

rite so the mounts can be fabricated, water pipe i should get around that, sump should be easy enough to change. . . .just need to sort the loom out?
i have the dogleg box aswel . . .will that all hook up and fit in the e30?

M535i/535i diffs are large case 3.07:1 units. All the M535i ones are LSD's as well.
