Hi there and welcome to the zone....There are a few of us about in sheff but the meets seem to happen at squires ...you missed a meet on sunday at sytners...what do you drive and wherabouts are you

Thanks for the quick reply.Yeah i just about noticed the Sunday event.i live in Bramton Bierlow in Rotherham.and i drive a 316 that i still doing up.so do you know when the next one is at all?

nothing as yet They usually happen from the spring onwards but you never know...mine is in hibernation til april

I never realised there were so many E30 guys in Sheffield/Rotherham. If you see a Black E30 M3 around looking just too damn cool for school...then that will be me. However, along with DaveD mine has been put into hibernation too. There is a meet in Hasland Nr. Chesterfield the first Monday of each month, that is the only regular meet I know of around here. Unless of course you count the impromptu meet at Sweeps place on Saturdays.

Nothing planned at the moment,as DavD has said,we usually go to Squires near Selby,just off the A1.We find this place convenient as it has a decent sized carpark and we are made welcome!The location also caters for the York contingent and we have lads coming from as far as Liverpool and Newcastle!
Probably looking at March/early April for the next,but there is nothing to stop you suggesting a meet elsewhere if you wish.

Welcome, the BMWCarClub Peak & South Yorkshire Branch meet at Telemere Lodge Winsick (Hasland) off A617 from junct 29 M1 on first monday every month so you and any others would be most welcome to pop along.

Missed Sytners - woke up with front tyre flat as a Witches tit - don't they sweep roads these days? - Looks like I missed a really good event. What time do people generally get there and do I need to bring my wallet!!!!?

I think a meet would be a great idea. But it would need to be somewhere with a decent sized car park.....maybe The Peacock in at Owler Bar?

But we need to consider (if it is at a pub) that on a Saturday we might not be that popular with the landlord/manager, taking up his/her car park on a Saturday?

I would suggest (if I may be so bold) a night in the week when pubs are struggling (more or less) for customers?

But for me anyway it would have to be in the Spring when 'she' comes out of her winter hibernation.

A night in the week would be perfect with me, I work long hours at the weekend so I miss most things, including Saturdays at Sweep's.

Can we say every 1st Tuesday of the month,location wise, there is a big car park near Centretainment where Macdonalds , ToysRUs and all other retail outlets are.thers a pub opposite as well and the landlord said its ok with him.
