I now understand why it's called the stealers!
I've bought a few things from bmw because it's been easy and just as cheap as ecp which is next door. however as i was passing today I thought I would grab a couple of prices...
now I asked for a price on 4 15" bbs's and a pas rack
the bbs's turned out at 480GBP which isnt too bad considering, but when they told me how much for a pas rack I nearly had a heart attack! Ԛ£750 no thats not a mis-type! I couldnt believe it! then he had the cheek to say, would you like me to order them?

did the BBS include the centre caps?
(try www.motormec.co.uk for OE BMW stuff; it's usually cheaper - I guess they buy in bulk from Germany)

Fine thanks Neil. Just got the MOT re-test done and passed.320Touring wrote:hows the touring doing?
Next job will have to be change the cylinder head, modify my spare inlet manifold and fit the 325i TB. Won't be for a couple of months though, still too much to do to Wor Hooos!
Cheers m8y
Stuart.

I've got 3 broken manifold studs. I haven't actually got a 2.3 bottom end yet. I'll get the broken studs drilled out of the head and keep it ready for whenever a 23 lump comes 'round. They seem to be rarer than rocking horse dumps at the moment. I'm no no hurry though as the 20 bottom end is fine for now.320Touring wrote:why the cylinder head change?thought you had a 323 lump to go in?
