Are there any differences between the front seats for a cabby and a coupe?

IIRC, the cab seats have a plastic block fitted in the folding mechanism to restrict their movement, but it's removable.

so I should be able to use any 2 door seats in the cabby if im careful when gettin in the back?

Can anyone tell me if E36 (or any other BMW model) seats will fit in the E30 cabby?
