HI COULD SOMEONE TELL ME IM GOING TO BY A 316I E30 I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE 6CYL ENGINE FROM A E36 OR LATER WILL FIT OR WILL IT REQUIRE MAJOR MODIFICATION THE ENGINE I MEAN IS THE TWIN CAM 32V FROM THE YOUNGER CARS

The engine you're referring to is the M50 and its derivatives.
