quick question on chips,i have an 85 318 baur which has just gained the running gear out of a late 84 323 motor,box,front & rear ends ,it runs cold air induction and large pipe with headers,was wondering if i can get a chip for it just to optimize its potential without doing more mods to it at this stage.

Yes,I would suggest you contact Ant at A-Tec,he's also a trader zoner,by email.
Give him as much engine spec. as you can and you will be suprised with the result.
