An M30 swap/general playing with E30 scrap thread
Moderator: martauto
I want all of the running gear off it, and one front wing. Probably going to be easiest to drop the engine out the bottom connected to the front sub frame and struts. Also planning to liberate the windows and doors, and as much as I can of what ever is left.
That will leave us with a car that has no wheels or anything to bolt them onto. I'm thinking angle grinders to assist removing what's left.

I should have a bit more time to spend on my beloved E30's.

CR24v??? Where's it all gone?? LOL
7 months and 2 days since last update!!
Ahem, not much to report other than Progress has resumed and should gradually gather pace again now. New job, new flat, new 'garage' at last.
I've had a few knocks but I've dusted myself off and getting back on my feet albeit with a radically different lifestyle.
I collected the 325 donor car from Wales today (with my nice new A-frame) and started to strip it.

My 318 shell was next to it down on the farm and I'm pleased to report both survived the winter very well.
Plan is to remove all of the bits I need, flog any I don't, and then collect the 318 shell and hopefully start to put it together. I have room for just one car in my lock up so a bit of juggling is required.
And I bet u lot thought I'd abandoned this altogether.
