needs an engine clean and a carpet clean. also needs a couple of front seats but generally in better than average condition.

the rest of the interior is too good to remove right now but id like to upgrade to leather at some point.

yes, first is to fix the few small problems it has. window runner,exhaust knocking on body when starting, electric sunroof not working. not sure why yet, any ideas? 2 new front seats and a good cleanup.

and then, maybe, after some more research and if a cheap donor becomes available, a larger engine. was thinking 325i but decided if im gonna do it, do it properly, so looking at 328, 330, 335 who knows. but for now im enjoying the new purchase and may just leave it be. (although, those that know me know that probably wont happen)

I see it has the usual tailgate grot! It's worth stripping the trim/wiper off and attacking it with kurust and zinc primer before it starts leaking water into the boot. Some people favour filling the channel at the bottom of the window with black silicone and doing away with the rubber dummy seal. That one looks salvageable on the surface of it, but they can be made of cornflakes behind the numberplate plinth - definitely worth investigating because they can get horrid very quickly.

Otherwise looks very sound. I've a soft spot for 4-pot tourings - they're the sensible choice really when it comes to daily use e30s.

Just realised it ws you on the engine swap thread - yeah, sod it, stick an M52B28 in there, but don't take so long over it as E30beemerlad

i dont mess about with time. if (when) i decide to do it, i doubt it will be off the road more than a week once i have scourced the donor car. This has been proven on more than one occasion

The E30 replaces this as my daily drive and here i am only 3 days after getting it on the road asking about 2.8 to 3.5 engine conversions.
