Is it manual?

I've got an electric one.

If it's manual, undo the two handles at the front above your head, lift the hood back and lift it up from the back. There should be a pull handle in the rear passenger side door card, this will open the horseshoe, lift it up and then fold the hood into it carefully.

I've not operated a manual hood, but i reckon the above is correct (correct if i'm wrong :) )

Almost there!
There's a safety catch on the horseshoe lock, bit like a front opening bonnet, after pulling the catch in the doorcard, slip your mitt under the inner edge of the horseshoe and flick the catch...

lol thats the catch i couldnt work out haha after tinkering for ages i realised there was some sort of catch that needed fettling before it opened.
now i know the hood works fine ive just gotta get it all cleaned up on weekend, then get it up an axle stands and inspect the ball joints track rod ends and the anti roll bar bushes because
when driving home lastnight the steering lacked feel, my mate told me the track rod ends are usually the cause?

its a old car its bound to have marks against it alot of these cars were stolen in there day, a car at that age and price you go on condition, bodywork, how it runs ect, forget all the history it means naff all tbh, is the oil filter clean? or does it look 6 year old? go for it :D

yeah oil filter looks like it was changed yesterday lol but that dont make a diff to me because im gonna give it a full service when i get some time to myself
will be refreshing the brakes and the fluid new oil in power steering system and probably even all new bushes including new balljoits and new track rod ends.
this car does drive quite well no squeeks or squeels like i was thinking it might have lol
just want to tighten up things and the drive
i know this car will be nowhere near as good a drive as my brothers minter of an se tintop coupe but im sure refreshing the joints will make it tighter and more pleasurable to drive.

lol yeah its got A/C too @b7....everything in the car works too haha although the backseat bottom bench part was replaced at some point and the owner used a non motorsport bench so kinda lookin to change that bk to a motorsport one it doesnt match that well with the stitch lines going the opposite way lol

It's an early attempt at climate control.

You just need a standard cab rear bench in grey leather!

thanks rodderz but its already got the standard cab bench in grey leather whereas its supposed to be a motorsport bench, somebody changed it for some reason along its life but the prroblem is that the motorsport seats have the stitching running the opposite way to the standard seat/bench?
mine is a motorsport so im gonna try to rectify this.
im not sure why those dials/digits are there on the heater control lol as said above myt be the attempt for climate?????
