Night time Chard is the British equivalent of Hellmand province and can often make Croydon look like a sea of tranquility. Bridgewater is the Middlesborough of Somerset. Once known for the stink of sellophane manufacture (British Smellophane) it has an equally lively nightlife. Jayzus, when I think what I've walked out of the Palais Nite Klub with in years gone by.....

Sometimes you didn't actually need to leave the place to get a shag. Apparently.

i'm looking ahead to and newer bmw as adaily driver. e46 maybe but idealy e60 depending on prices. just see what happens and so for now i'll just keep using the compact i have. its good fun to drive lol

is that the blue one, there were a couple of pics in one of the BMW mags about it, i think TBMW.

as for the 6sp conversion, fail play mate. make the car any better? i dont think it was bmw cutting cost as they thought it would be funny to change diff flange sizes for some reason which made the diff swop on my compact a touch interesting. there was no need for them to down size !!

Yeah, seems slightly quicker to me at the moment as the car is down on power abit from a blowing manifold and after developing an inlet pipe air-leak.
Pick up in much much better with more ratios to choose from and since I put in the lightened M20 flywheel at the same time, it makes hovering around the speed limit tricky as the car wants to just cruise along at lower speeds or else at 80-100mph easier (better get that cruise control working again

Friend that has a 328 said it's a good improvement however and once sorted shouldn't be too far being his upto a point...until he goes for the M52 mods and swaps his 3.15 3.0LSD for a 6 speed and 3.25 from his Evo track car
