I've joined the 24v club with this barge

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p

For being horrible to everyday, got it for £850, 149 on the clock. Original nikasil donk, runs sweet as a nut. Aircon is ice cold, and the leather interior is very good. Even has adjustible steering column!

Short Mot and a cracked windscreen, so i've got a week to sort this out, goes well!

Good car with some minor fettling me thinks

Looks like a good base car - my E36 Touring is one of the best cars I've had - I do wish I had held out for a 328i now though.

No ASC but you might be lucky and find it has an LSD :D

no chance of that with the slipper. I'm not bothered about ASC, just gets you stuck when it snows! M50 inlet and M20 flywheel/clutch me thinks to liven it up, after driving Kos' compact i like it alot.

Looks well optioned up anyway - even got park distance control and headlamp washers

Mines got ASC but I haven't used it in the snow yet - just have to switch it off I guess

Looks okay that for 8 and a half hundred quid. Can't go wrong can you?

It'll look lovely with a load of buckets, trowels and levels in the boot and a load of Red Bull / sandwich wrappers in the footwells. Much more like 13's car

Jesus Si, there's an awful lot of buttons on that dash. How you gonna hit them with a trowel? :D

Apart from that looks like a good deal. Well done Sir!

dips, stop it !! :x

we know you have all the nice extras for these cars

Mr13's new car is nice and presentable for a bricky. with a few trick peices it will be hoot to drive nad haul all his wokr gear.

mate, get an e36 M3 3 litre LSD mate. its drops the gearing down to make it bit more zippy and will allow that turd to still pull 150mph

barry I think dips is right, it is about a 3.23. I have been out in a 6sp evo with a 3.64 ratio and it was an animal !

E36s are gay. Even though I turned up to No Rice in one.

What's with the betrayal of the E30 clan then? Daily work shitter?

its not a betrayal, its the want and need of a nicer newer more presentable daily driver

as clean as an e30 is, i dont want one as daily drive thats why i've been driving e36's for over a year now

the reason i switched, well i wanted climate control. i want one touch electric windows and switches that are not stiff, i want a smoother drive and better fuel economy and a car thats viewed as modern, not just "a clean old bm"

Thats why I bought my M5 :D
After giving my company van back to the company to start running one of my cars as a daily I soon realised how old E30's are! Still love em though and always will.....
