Thats a complete no. I don't like indicators in mirrors on top spec new motors, so on a e30, definite no.ImysE30 wrote:I believe so, get some door mirrors with built in indicators?
Unless its a few LED's built into standard e30 mirrors, as tiny as possible, so you can only see them when they flash. ???

Keep the wiring loom and bulb holder, have it extended, so its still visible for the mot!
I wonder how long it will take people to notice this...

What about fixing some E46 repeaters into the plastic bumper moulding strip?
They're nice and small, and it keeps it BMW...

Correct upto a certain year you are exempt...
however a lil trick alot of dub boys use, is just pulling out the unit over the wings for the actual test and then tucking them away again!

Eko did a very neat trick with his black M50 build last year. He got hold of smoked repeaters that fit flush into the side bumper moulding - from the US IRC . Almost invisible:

Have a tech 2 kit, so that technique is not possible. I'm just going to flush them, and leave the wiring there, if i need to, i'l put some temporary stick-ons on the mirror for the test. Not too fussed about the cops, theres more reasons to pull me than the repeaters.
