Bought a set of update smiley lights a few months back and have finally got around to cleaning them up for fitting and have noticed that one side is Hella and the other Bosch :?
Will this cause any issues - them seem pretty much identical

Thanks Will ...and is it a straight forward job of joining like coloured wires (the new lights been cut off with about 150mm lead + plugs)?

Have yours got the parklight in the dip light?
:o: :o: Not sure, there seems to be separate globe with some wires lead from main plug to it (if that makes sense)

This is exactly what I have (well, one of these and one stamped "hella") but it doesn't have the piece with the pin at the bottom left of your pic?
Does this mean I need to do anything different?

pin at bottom is for the hydraulic leveling adjustment system, normally broken anyway and odes not affect the lights electrically,

the onlt difference from bosch and hella lights is the diameter of the glass, i actaully have a Hella lens on a Bosch backing as i broke on makeing my smoked lights - as described in the wiki guide i wrote on DIY smoked lights!

Thanks. We have nice weather and daylight savings now so this is one of a few minor projects about to commence
