Hi,

Debating suspension set ups at the moment for my soon to be bought 325i Sport and so far I have found kits like the Spax RSX (which is a front coilover with fixed height rears) along with more expensive full coilover set ups like the GAZ coilovers. But I'm concerned I may be limited to the amount of 'play' I will have with the fixed rear set ups, because ideally I want to tuck some of the tyre at the back and create a slightly front end raked stance on the front by winding down the fronts on 17"s.

So if anyone has got any pics of E30's lowered 40mm and 60mm respectively - preferably on 17"s, please post them up and help me make up my mind/ease my decision pains lol.

:)

Probably not much help whatsoever but my malachite green 2door is on "-80mm" springs with 14" steels and fat as hell tyres. Ill get a snap put up asap.

Looks awesome mate, do you have any clearance issues on the sump at all? Mine will be on 17's so the clearance (I'm hoping) will be pretty decent and look the t*ts just like yours

LOL

Triple, ive only occasionally hit the valance over high speed humps, also the exhaust gets it on those square humps but not often.
With 17" rims though it will help with clearance

Thanks dudes, any chance I could be cheeky and ask for a close of the rear wheel and the arch? Basically where I'm coming from is that I'm gonna be going for the Spax RSX kit (I'm 99% sure). The Spax kit has two different rear height options which are fixed: 40mm and 60mm. So wanted to make sure that I don't make a mistake with the ride height on the rear, also I wanna get a rakey nose down stance, the front is fully height adjustable so no worries there...Just wanna get it right first time.

Pretty please! What width are they as well, I'm prospectively looking at 9"s on the back ET25

Where do you buy 70/50 springs, or 80/60 springs?

Hey TripleL I saw your project thread on ed38. Car looks mint :) Didn't realise you were only "up the road" so to speak.

What did you end up with?

Are you sure? That doesn't really look lowered much at all - maybe 20mm.
