hi all

need that extra security lock that some e30s have i need it as iam gettin a new door put on my bmw and need that lock dont really want to fill the hole in if i could get the lock ill just put that in

its this lock circled in red

does anyone know where i can get 1 from is it a dealer part or if it has a name on it can you pls put it on here so i can find 1

They're a convertible-only part AFAIK - I'm sure someone'll have removed theirs & be able to send it to you! :)
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

Does the new door come with a hole then? :? I thought these were dealer-fitted to just the cabs.

yep the new door comes with a hole so it must be a dealer part ill have to contact dealers then

I had a 4dr last year that had one - I think they were standard on cabs and a rarely chosen factory option on saloons.

I'd just fill the hole personally!

I seen a 320 cabby with them locks fitted a few weeks ago, they were fitted by bmw aparently
