looked as hard as i can and im sure its a base colour. Just like red has no lacquer and fades. So im just trying to confirm it isnt lacquered.
318i tourer, saved from the scrapper and to be resurrected.
Black 316 2 door, breaking for spares. Enquire for any parts.

2 types you get a 2k solid black with doesnt need lacquer or a base coat with does,even the reds were base coat well most of them

and if you cant tell by looking if not in trade the only way u could tell is by flatting back with 2000 if water turns slightly black then its 2k if milky coulor then its base

100% correct another way is to use a clean white cloth and polish it. If the cloth turns the same colour as the car its solid, if not its cleared.

Have to polish hard but.
