Thank`s "Brianmoooore".Brianmoooore wrote:The hose in question shouldn't have any effect on the car - it's just the same as running with the fuel filler cap off.
There are many and varied possible reasons why your car won't start, so we'll have to narrow things down a bit!
Does the fuel pump run when you crank the engine? If it's exposed as in your pic., you should easily be able to hear it.

In that case, the next thing to do is to remove a spark plug (or use a spare), put the plug lead back onto it, lay the plug on its side on the rocker cover, crank the engine over, and check for a nice strong blue spark, once every two turns of the crank.124spider wrote: The fuel pump, works fine.
I think that is not an electrical problem, because there is a fuel leak somewhere. The fuel pump compartment has many fuel, and there are two little fuel marks on the floor, below the Touring. And this vent hose is full of fuel too.Brianmoooore wrote:In that case, the next thing to do is to remove a spark plug (or use a spare), put the plug lead back onto it, lay the plug on its side on the rocker cover, crank the engine over, and check for a nice strong blue spark, once every two turns of the crank.124spider wrote: The fuel pump, works fine.
