Im interested in doing a 335 conversion...
What parts do i need and what prices are they roughly?...
Should i go for a manual box instead of my current auto?
How long will this conversion take?..weekend?
and will insurance go up a lot?
Does the tax bracket change to the engine rather that the chassis?..

Thanks, Andy

P.S rough price estimates would be very helperful so i can determine a budget

Tax bracket shouldn't change - my M535i was £190/year, same as a 325i, as it's over 1549cc. :)

Engine mounts are available from Beefy amongst others on here.

Moved to the engine swaps section. Feel free to ask any questions you've got left after reading the thread linked above! :)

It's just nuts and bolts, easy enough. And swapping two wires.

If you need it to be done in 2 days, don't take it on yourself. Sure, it's possible in that time but no chance if you've not done anything similar before...

I believe so, you need the M30 loom and ECU and that's it. I think!

wiring is very very simple :D assuming you have a E32 or E34 donor and your E30 is a facelift one with the round C101 main engine loom connector
