325i Motorsport how do you tell?

Ive been to see the below car and am hopefully going to buy it tomorrow, anyone got any tips on making sure its a genuine motorsport? I cannot look out for springs etc as its been lowered anyone know of tell tale signs?

Thanks mate ive read that before but its for a sport not a motorsport!?

There are no headlight washers on the ar in potentially buying, as for all the other stuff how am i supposed to tell i dunno about all the breaking systems etc to be able to tell.

Suppose i will have to get the vin number and ask a BMW dealer eh?!

All i know is its got an electric roof and the centre console is leather cannot remember about the other stuff it has the right body kit on it, me thinks lol

Thats wicked mate i will look out tomorrow for the stuff listed good guide really, it has some of the stuff on the list from that i can remember.

Yeah, the more I look at it I see it looks Macau, when I first looked at it I thought it was purple.

Yep thats Macau alright ! sometimes bluey, sometimes purple, in some lights black and in bright sunshine it looks like all 3 at the same time !!

I got the reg number and the shassi number/vin number whos the best place to ring up to find out if it is a true motorsport.

The colour is Macau alright or what i perceive it to be.

Go to your local BMW dealer they will be able to tell you exactly what it is if youve got the VIN No .

Rang the dealer in central birmingham the bloke there was a complete dope, he gave me prices for centre consoles etc and couldnt tell me if it was a motorsport.

Rang Godfrey Hall in Coventry, yeah it is a motorsport and sorry we no longer stock the parts i required bummer!!!!!

He reckoned that they only make parts for 10 years after production of the car. So it looks like the door trims and center console are going to take alot longer to source if not its going to have to be retrimmed!!!

Real crap as my centre console is completly shagged.

Thats a Macau blue motorsport like mine, its been on the trader a number of times!.

I called my local BMW dealer to find out if a Nogaro silver cab I'm interested in is a true Motorsport [as this colour has never been mentioned before] and the guy faxed me a bunch of spec - and did confirm its a true Motorsport cab. I just had the reg. Definetly the way to make sure its 100% real.

Would love to hear about your progress with sourcing an interior t11mfn.

Get a pic up of your console and i'll tell you if it can be sorted, I've done 2 from worn to as new.
