Hi all
When replacing brakes line for a 325i does the fuel tank need to be taken out?
I don't know whether there are a 'front' and 'rear' set of brake lines could any please advice?
Thanks in advance.

ideally yes. makes life a lot easier. 1 pipe front to rear. then i think 4 smaller pipes on the rear axle. if youre doing that. you may want to consider the fuel pipes too. hope it helps

Right got the car into the mechanics and found that all the lines are fine and not leaking fluid from them.
Changed the pads but not the discs as they were absolutely fine, but the reason that prompted the visit was due to the fact that I lost all pressure from the pedal which went right to the floor, leaving me with no brakes along the M6!
When the reserviour was checked it was empty - what could've caused the loss of brake fluid?
