I've pretty much decided to buy a new exhaust system for my 320i.
I want to get the down pipes, centre section and rear section for a 325i which having read some other previous posts should fit straight onto my existing exhaust manifold.
I wondered what you guys thought of ECP's prices and whether Boysen would be the best make to go for - I understand Boysen supply BMW OE?
Exhaust system from ECP?

More expensive ECP ones are supposed to be good/fine!
Though I have the cheaper one on my m10. Think it cost about Ԛ£70 for the whole lot! Had it for 3 years 25000 miles. The welded braket for the rear box did brake on the M1 when it was pretty new though, got some nice sparks when the thing dragged along! Temporarly fixed it with the girlfriends expensive leather belt! (she has never forgiven me for that.....) Then just put a new braket on it. Been fine since! Can't say it fits the best, gets the crap knocked out of it on a regualr bases, lots of dents in the centre box. But its still fine.

I have an ECP Boysen centre box on my 2.7 and it sounds lovely, nice bassy note.
However when I tried to get the back box they no longer stock it so I went to GSF and got an Eberspacher back box for Ԛ£80, again a top quality box with a nice note but it is angle exit so not to everyone's taste.
Cheers,
Iain T

As has been said, Boysen are top quality, and would have been found on the E30 when they left BMW all them years ago, they sound great, and last ages.
