Well 'that welsh guy' is obviously a zoner..... I'd have put a little more thought into your sentence, on the offchance that he reads what you have just written.Hellbound wrote:Thought this was yonks old...yonks I say! Although that welsh guy sounds like the most boring human being on earth
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
I first started hating the wheeler dealer guy when I heard him say "MitsibUshi" instead of Mitsubishi. I hate him more and more each time I see him, not to mention his constant leaning/sitting on cars. I'll need therapy soon.
Bollox Brewer says in that clip that "fitting 17's makes it a much better driving experience"
I hate to be picky but what utter sh1te. I got 17's on mine and it certainly does not improve the driving experience. E30's are much happier on smaller rims IMHO.
They look nice though.

However your 17's comment is not strictly true.. However that would be OT..

15" or 16" is all that I would put in an E30

well despite all it's faults {brewer etc} the zone gets a mention, btw i watched this episode and many others before i owned an e30 and never thought of buying one. it was eccy gti fwd wrongun back then.and peanut butter does work as a color restorer on corsa's ka's etc many mpg to be had per jar and the crunchy one is favorite for the task.
and this is a big repost etc,
but still comical .

watch the series Fi,
on one money spinner brewer applied peanut butter to a faded plastic bumper and it completely changed it for the good.
very odd looks from the Jone's though when i did it.

Blimey, Mick. That's my new thing learnt today
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
better than most bumper restorers i've tried,
i'm sure it's coz i'ts oil based.now the crunchy's only best on grained placca so i'd go SMOOOTH on e30 moulds

Wrong..joeyzassa wrote:no real ones only come in 16"6potpower wrote:Can you get real 17' alpinas?........
You can get real 17" 'Pina's.. They were available for the Z1 RLE, rare as fook, about 2k a set if they come up..
Sadly 99.99999% of e30's running 17" 'Alpina's' Are running Burger King reps
I quite like wheeler dealers but you have to take mike brewer with a pinch of salt. Edd does good work and they do seem to get there hands on cheep cars espesially in the latter series's. I would have snapped up the quatrro from the last series.
